Outreach & Events
Outreach:
There were numerous ways for you to get involved! See the information below to learn more.
Do you work, play, or travel along Ribaut Road? Maybe you don't now but would like to? If so, we would love to hear from you! Your knowledge is a valuable resource, and the following survey is critical to understanding what works and what doesn’t along the corridor. This survey should only take about 10-minutes to complete. Please also share with your friends, family, and neighbors.
CLOSED!
The interactive map allows you, the community, to identify issues that need attention, and opportunities to improve! On the map, you’ll be able to leave comments about problem areas and points of interest. Tying your comments to specific locations is important feedback as we seek to understand challenges and opportunities along the corridor!

Project Update:
We're hosting an open house to review the Ribaut Road improvements project:

When? Friday, October 25th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Where? Technical College of the Lowcountry, 921 Ribaut Road, Building 12
The purpose of this Open House is for citizens and stakeholders to review updated design alternatives, share thoughts and concerns, and learn more about project status, and future steps. This is an important initiative that has the potential to make a significant impact on our community. Working together, citizens and stakeholders can help shape the future of this vital corridor and create a better community for everyone.
For questions or persons requiring additional assistance due to language barriers, contact the Engineering Department at 843-255-2700.

Design Workshop

What is this?
A Design Workshop is a collaborative, planning-level process with planners, designers, and engineers. This particular workshop focused on Ribaut Road, from Boundary Street to the Russell Bell Bridge.

We needed your input to craft this new conceptual design. We made evening presentations of our work, and needed your feedback to suggest possible improvements and see how the design develops.
